We weren't expecting any good updates on Spider-Man 4 for a while, since they're not that far along and it's so far out. But out of nowhere comes this rather interesting update from the New York Post. The paper talked with producer Todd Black recently for Taking of Pelham 123 but also asked him about Spider-Man 4. First off, Black confirmed that Kirsten Dunst is definitely set to return, contrary to early rumors that she might be replaced. Unfortunately, he doesn't say much more than that, but he does also confirm that the vampire Morbius is not a villain, but instead drops some hints as to who we might see in the sequel.
Regarding the villain, Black only said: "We're just coming up with who the villain's going to be now. We'll be shooting in New York again. Trust me, people will appreciate who we pick, because it'll be a big part of New York." He also adds that "the villain will be one of Spidey's foes from the comic, not a character invented for the film." So who could that be? The Post has their own picks, but I consulted our resident Spider-Man expert Brandon Lee Tenney. "My first thought was Wilson Fisk, Kingpin. Beside Norman Osborn, he's really the only other villain with any major, rooted ties to NYC and a history with Spider-Man." Maybe?
He also thinks that it could be Kraven the Hunter or Lizard, who we've seen hints of already in the movies, but other than that there aren't that many others they could choose from, right? Those are the only hints that Black gives us, and they're quite vague, even for Spider-Man fans. I have a feeling that we may be spinning his statements a bit too much in that the character will be from the comics, but maybe rewritten a bit to be a big part of New York for the movie (and not a big part of New York in the comics, per se). Right now it's all just early speculation and they probably won't reveal the villain for a while. Who could it be?

Ok, you brought Venom in when meteor landed. So leave carnage dorment for now and bring in characters that should appear. King Pin is the cause for bringing in Black Cat. Plus connor needs to show up dr.lizard. So connects the characters in a story. King Pin is back in town after weasaling his way out of prison. Tring to to be productive in the Undergrounds in New York. Pin not only has to face DareDevil, but Spider-Man. Pin starts funds two scientists for human inhansement. One particular is Dr.Connors research for growing back decapitated limbs. As the other improved human ablities.Pin interested closely in the scientist. Because he wants to create the perfect theif that can't be seen or caught by anyone(including spidey or daredevil).
carnage would truly be awesome to have as another super villian just think of all the cool cgi effects!!
It would take alot to fight carnage, spider-man never could defeat him alone.
So if you bring in carnage i would assume, venom to return to fight the good fight, also bring dr. connors into the mix as the lizard for some aided help.
It would be interesting to see all the rumoured characters somehow connected for a final 4 showdown to take down Carnage and Venom.
You guys should put in the villians that have good fighting skills.Like carnage, lizzard, black cat,not kraven because he belongs in the jungle, the scorpion because he's kind of like an insect too, Electro,hydro man because sand man was in spider man 3,and venom too, so he can team up with carnage and it would be more of a chalenge for spidey. king pin should be in the movie because he put black cat in charge to do his dirty work, but he shouldn't be one of the villans to fight spiderman, because he's to much of a fatty. petter should definetly not die in the movie becuase in the comics,he has a daughter, and the only way he can get a daughter is mary someone.And that someone should be m.j. so that means he should marry m.j in this spider man movie.The spider amn movie should a lot like the spider man game "spider man webs of shadows." why, because the game has pretty much the right villans, the right scenery, but i'm saying koppy the whole movie from the game, i'm saying that you should koppy some of the parts from the game. i'm so excited for the spider man4 movie to come out. spider man is my #1 favorite super hero ever. every halloween i dress up in a spider man costume ever scence I was 3.
